The Central Office Cost Center (COCC) Department directs and oversees all agency activities in accordance with Housing Authority policies and HUD regulations. It provides supervision and oversight to all departments and staff. The intern has an opportunity to be involved in a variety of executive activities and learn the various aspects of directing housing authority business.
Responsibilities include assisting in the department's daily activities, including the planning and coordinating of staff and client meetings, preparation and distribution of documents and reports, researching housing related information in the PHA jurisdiction and preparing reports and data for review and determination of housing needs. Additional responsibilities will be defined based upon the areas of interest and qualifications of the selected intern.
